Modular Grandstands in Caen: Alcor Chosen for the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games
Alcor Équipements was selected as the “Service Provider for the Organising Committee of the FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 Altech in Normandy” in the “modular stands/removable grandstands” category. Below is an overview of what we accomplished to facilitate this prestigious event held in Caen.
Modular grandstand for equestrian games: our know-how
We installed 11,000 modular grandstand seats across 5 sites in Caen area:
- Haras du Pin: Alcor Équipements set up 30,000 modular seats for the eventing competition, as well as areas for persons with reduced mobility and the press.
- Zénith de Caen: This site hosted the vaulting event. Alcor Équipements installed 600 modular seats arranged in an arc shape.
- Hippodrome de Caen: We installed approximately 3,000 modular seats along a 100-meter stretch, allowing spectators to view the para-dressage and eventing competitions. Alcor Équipements also set up 4 standing stands.
- Parc Expo de Caen: For the reining event, Alcor installed indoor removable stands (3,000 capacity), along with platforms for PRM.
- Games Village in Caen: We installed 1,000 modular seats for various events.
All of these modular grandstands in Caen, whether covered or uncovered, were elevated and included VIP and press areas. This contract further solidifies Alcor Équipements’ expertise in the modular grandstand sector.
