On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, the Merville Battery Museum served as the backdrop for an exceptional event. To graciously welcome visitors, Alcor provided a rental outdoor grandstand with a capacity of 2,000 seats.

Alcor played a key role during the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. In addition to the grandstand for the Caen Memorial anniversary ceremonies and the stands for the presidential speech in Plumelec, we installed this modular grandstand for the Merville Battery Museum.
The 2,000-seat structure was perfectly suited to the needs of the event. It allowed the audience to fully enjoy the commemorations and the reenactment of the landings. The configuration of the grandstand was specifically designed to fit harmoniously into the museum’s outdoor environment. Sound and lighting equipment were provided to meet the specific requirements of this outdoor show.
